Helpful Hints

Never shift to Park or Reverse while the vehicle is moving.
Never shift to Reverse or Drive when the engine rpm's are higher than normal.
Periodically check your parking space for fluid leaks.
Check the transmission fluid level, you can do this when you have your engine oil changed.
Always tow front wheel drive vehicles with the front tires off the ground.
When towing a trailer or driving uphill the O/D should be turned off.
Turning off the O/D will help prevent the transmission from overheating.
